Customized Solutions for Foot Health and Mobility

Restore Alignment, Relieve Discomfort

Orthotic prescriptions and gait analysis work together to address foot and posture-related issues. Through gait analysis, we look at your walking behavior to identify anything that may contribute to discomfort or pain. Based on that, custom orthotics are designed to provide support, enhance alignment, and improve overall movement.

Frequently Asked Questions

If you’re paying out of pocket, a prescription isn’t necessary. If you’re using insurance, a prescription is usually necessary depending on the provider.

Orthotics are typically covered by most private insurance policies or workplace benefits, but OHIP does not cover orthotics. While most insurance providers require a prescription from a medical doctor for coverage, not all do. Please check with your insurance provider.

Once you’re ready, we’ll conduct a full posture and gait analysis, dispense your orthotics, and walk you through how to use them properly. After your analysis, we dispense your custom orthotics and provide a full walkthrough on how to use them. You’ll leave with everything you need to start wearing them comfortably right away.

After your initial assessment, we will let you know how long it would take for you to receive your custom orthotics, as it depends on the complexity of the prescription.

If you’re experiencing foot pain, discomfort while walking, or postural issues, orthotics can be a helpful solution. A gait analysis with one of our certified practitioners can help determine if custom orthotics are right for you.

Proper care includes regular cleaning with mild soap and water, allowing them to air dry. Avoid exposure to extreme heat to prevent warping.
